Few days ago, popular Tanzania Bongo flavour star that is Rayvanny whose real name Raymond Shaban Mwakyusa, signed a Multi billion distribution deal with Mziiki. The CEO of the Next Level music went on to his Instagram page and wrote,
“Mama your son is a billionaire Now !! Am so happy to sign my first Big distribution deal in the world with my family @mziiki “Mama mwanao ni bilionea sasa 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thanks God ,big thanks to all my fans for supporting me Get ready for #Chui am coming @Mziiki @ziiki_southside 📣📣📣📣📣,” Vanny Boy.
Days later, his former boss and WCB President Diamond Platnumz welcomed Rayvanny to the Billionaires club.
Vanny Boy took to social media to announce that he had gone from millionaire to billionaire thanks to a new deal he signed with Mziiki, a South African company.
Platnumz joined the conversation after hearing the news, welcoming his former signee to the Billionaires Club.
“Vanny Baaaaaay! Welcome to the Billionaire Club! 🔥👑,” Chinbu Dangote reacted to Rayvanny’s new deal.
Meanwhile, few months ago, Rayvanny parted ways with the Diamond owned record label after six years.
“It’s been six years since we started working together. My team, my family WCB Wasafi, love, and unity have been very instrumental in the success of our team.
I have learned a lot and also we have achieved a lot together. I was the first Tanzanian artiste to win a BET award. I have been the first artiste to perform on big platforms like the MTV EMAs stage, Dubai Expo, and many more,” Rayvanny said in part.
Vanny Boy thanked Diamond in his exit message for supporting his dream and propelling him to international success.
He had to pay at least Sh40 million before he could leave WCB Wasafi. In 2016, he signed with the label.
It should be noted that Rayvanny is the second East African artist to win a BET Award.
